"Alert N Wise" winner

It was a busy weekend at the Track. Saturday featured 3 Stakes Races highlghted with The BC Oaks and 3 more on Sunday with The BC Derby as the feature race. The BC Oaks was won by "Zenovit" with Kevin Krigger up. Zenovit coming off the pace to catch "Otero" who led for a bit more than 3/4 of a mile but faded to 4th.

The BC Derby on Sunday was run in the rain on an off track that was probably rated as sloppy. The early Leaders "Foxcreek" and "Smart Spending" tiring after about 3/4 with "Cherokee Notion" taking over only to be past by "Majestically" coming from dead last at 40/1 with a great ride by Richard Hamel , who is definitely having a great year and is the hottest Jock around here for the past couple of months.
